Marvel Medtech’s MR-IGI system is an enabling technology that combines MR-compatible interactive robotics with state-of-the-art MRI radiofrequency (RF) coil technology, real-time (RT) MR imaging techniques and an interactive planning and control interface.

This robotic RT MR-IGI system establishes a disruptive clinical and commercial platform technology that offers significant opportunity for new applications and follow-on product development along several possible evolutionary paths. These include minimally invasive applications such as tissue biopsies and/or excision of lesions; precise imaging marker placement; minimally invasive tumor ablation (possibly using cryo-therapy ablation, direct current ablation, photo-laser ablation, high intensity focused ultrasound ablation, etc.); and precise drug delivery therapies using RT MRI guidance, to name a few possibilities.
